Proposed 2024 Bond Measure
The 2024 Bond proposal puts forward significant renovations and targeted facility upgrades, moving SFUSD towards the schools we want and that SF kids deserve. The proposal also invests in healthy meals for students, technology and network improvements, outdoor learning spaces, and safe school buildings. Aligned closely with the 2023 Facilities Master Plan, the proposed program would create safe, modern, and comfortable spaces where students and staff can learn, work, and thrive.
2024 Bond Measure Resolution Schedule
On May 14th, 2024, Bond Program staff will present the Bond Measure Resolution at the Board of Education meeting. The bond is proposed to be placed before voters on the November 5, 2024 ballot. The schedule here shows key milestones, along with ongoing work that SFUSD staff will be doing to support a 2024 Bond.
At a September 2023 Board of Education meeting, Facilities staff discussed the draft ballot measure and how the proposed bond program implements the 2023 Facilities Master Plan.
